I will sell at public auction to highest bidder at County Court House on 12/04/2023 at 11:00 a.m. the following property: ALL THAT CERTAIN piece, parcel or lot of land situate, lying and being in the State of South Carolina, County of Greenville, being known and designated as Lot No. 48 on plat of Hamptons Grant, Phase 3, recorded in the Register of Deeds Office for Greenville County, South Carolina in Plat Book 29-Y, Page 68, and having according to a more recent plat prepared by Thomas P. Dowling, SC PLS #14808, dated August 15, 1996, entitled "Plat for Robert Alan Meyer and Polly McClain Meyer" recorded in the Register of Deeds Office for Greenville County in Plat Book 33-R at Page 79 and having such metes and bounds as appear thereon. THIS BEING the same property conveyed unto Carl Johnson and Karen Delp by virtue of a Deed from Ted Trew Bell dated June 4, 2003 and recorded June 11, 2003 in Book 2041 at Page 1883 in the Office of the Register of Deeds for Greenville County, South Carolina. THEREAFTER, Carl Johnson and Karen Delp conveyed the subject property to Carl Johnson and Karen Johnson by virtue of a Deed dated June 4, 2003 and recorded June 11, 2003 in Book 2041 at Page 1885 in the Office of the Register of Deeds for Greenville County, South Carolina. The successful bidder must pay interim interest from the date of the Sale through date of compliance at the rate of 7.37%.
Each successful bidder other than plaintiff at time bid is accepted will be required to deposit with Master as evidence of good faith 5% of bid in cash or certified check at the time of bid. In event purchaser fails or refuses to comply with terms of sale within 20 days from close of bidding, deposit shall be forfeited and applied first to costs and then to Plaintiff's debt, and the Master shall forthwith re-advertise and resell said property upon the same terms on some subsequent sales day at the risk of former purchaser until obtaining full compliance with sale.
