I will sell at public auction to highest bidder at County Court House on 10/02/2023 at 11:00 a.m. the following property: All that certain piece, parcel or lot of land, with improvements thereon, situate, lying and being in the State of South Carolina, County of Greenville, being shown and designated as Lot No. 54 on a plat of Edwards Forest, Section 5, plat of which is recorded in the RMC Office for Greenville County, SC in Plat Book 4-X at Page 50, and being shown on a more recent plat prepared by Gosnell Professional Surveying, Inc. entitled "Closing Survey for Carl E. Craig," dated May 1996 and recorded in the RMC Office for Greenville County, SC in Plat Book 32-S at Page 73, reference to said plat is herein made for the metes and bounds description as shown thereon. ------------------------------------ Please note that the above legal description has been modified to correct a minor, immaterial clerical error regarding the Plat Book of the individual plat. This being the same property conveyed to Jonathan L. Davenport by deed of Carl E. The successful bidder must pay interim interest from the date of the Sale through date of compliance at the rate of 6.250%.
Each successful bidder other than plaintiff at time bid is accepted will be required to deposit with Master as evidence of good faith 5% of bid in cash or certified check at the time of bid. In event purchaser fails or refuses to comply with terms of sale within 20 days from close of bidding, deposit shall be forfeited and applied first to costs and then to Plaintiff's debt, and the Master shall forthwith re-advertise and resell said property upon the same terms on some subsequent sales day at the risk of former purchaser until obtaining full compliance with sale.
