I will sell at public auction to highest bidder at County Court House on 08/07/2023 at 11:00 a.m. the following property: All that certain piece, parcel or lot of land situate, lying and being in the State of South Carolina, County of Greenville, on the southeast side of Riley road, and shown on a plat entitled “Property of Hilda G Cordell”, prepared by Carolina Surveying Co., and recorded in the ROD Office for Greenville County, SC in Plat Book 8-H at Page 67. Reference to said plat is hereby made for a more complete metes and bounds description thereof. This being the same property conveyed to Michael J. Latham, Jr. by Deed of Joslyn P. Robinson n/k/a Joslyn Glenn, dated June 24, 2020 and recorded June 26, 2020 in the Office of the Register of Deeds for Greenville County in Book 2596 at Page 5717. The successful bidder must pay interim interest from the date of the Sale through date of compliance at the rate of 3.250%.
Each successful bidder other than plaintiff at time bid is accepted will be required to deposit with Master as evidence of good faith 5% of bid in cash or certified check at the time of bid. In event purchaser fails or refuses to comply with terms of sale within 20 days from close of bidding, deposit shall be forfeited and applied first to costs and then to Plaintiff's debt, and the Master shall forthwith re-advertise and resell said property upon the same terms on some subsequent sales day at the risk of former purchaser until obtaining full compliance with sale.
